The Goal of life

World cup is to end round the corner. Every football fanatic’s eyes are glued to the arenas in Brazil where Germany and Argentina are prepared for the final battle. Lakhs of fans are praying for their favorites and hope to grab the world cup trophy in their country’s name. Everyone is tensed about who will score the final goal, who will make their teams will, who will be the star player. But have we ever worried about the goal of our life. Do we ever try to score a goal that turns ourselves into a star player helping us grab the victory against materialistic desires? I am sure that many would have thought about it, but no one is courageous enough to start this journey. We often worry about hundreds of things that are going on in our lives but never try to run past the defenders of our own thoughts towards the goalpost of salvation.                          Whatever we try to do in life, we always have that inner craving to search for the goal first and

The power of self domination

Life gives us a lot to learn. Sometimes from our, sometimes from the mistakes of others. Life is like a roller coaster. The experiences are valleys that make us scream in uncertainty but once we manage to go past them, we are bound to rise to the top. In life, we are influenced by a number of persons, close or far, who have a direct or indirect impact on our personality. Our experiences are nothing but the results of these influences. Once, we give the power of influencing our soul to another person, either we are presented with a gift or a lesson in the end. Everyone out their tries to build healthy relationships with fellow humans in the form of friendship, love, blood relationships or acquaintances. These people slowly and gradually start to have a deep impact by their behavior, care, love, attention and affection. We feel that we can never survive without a particular person. In short, his/her memories and his/her company start meaning a lot more than our own self’s. We start t

Venomous words

Do you know about venom? It is a liquid secreted by a snake through his sharp teeth that dig deep into the skin of its prey. The liquid is poisonous enough to make the prey inactive instantly and then slowly takes away the life out of it. Venom is poison, strong enough to take one’s precious life away. Snakes possess this deadly poison. But, a snake and its prey are creations of God, and they are made so to complete the food chain in the nature. It maintains a harmonious balance in the nature. But these days another deadly poison have entered this living planet. This time it is not to maintain a particular balance but rather it is just to dominate others without any reason. A creation of God secrete it, but I guess he was not made to do so. This poison is more deadly than the snake’s poison as this one do not take life away from the prey but makes it live with the insult and gloom of being a prey. He is still inactive, maybe because of circumstances, but it is sure that if he f

Frustrated you are, but with your soul, never be at war...

Life seems so demanding at times. At the same time, it appears that we cannot be such demanding towards life. Think over the fact that, with changing phases of your life, responsibilities keep piling up on your shoulders, and you just feel like burying deep inside a labyrinth, from where seems no escape. You crib, you complain, you get frustrated often, impatient enough to break the cobwebs of work and responsibilities, to be like a free bird. We wish we could fly as per our wish. We wish we could have the power to break every piece of rock that hold us down. We want to live our life as per our own wishes. But is it possible to forget every single responsibility and be self centred without thinking about its consequences. Or would it be wise to run off and spend your life as per your whims and fantasies? Yes, everyone of us wishes so. There is no harm in wishing a life that we could live as per our own wishes. A student wishes to leave studies and enjoy his time. A typical Indian

Forever with you, tough you can’t see through

I wished I had a rewind button in the recorder called life. Each day as the sun rises in the east, a new journey awaits for us that take us forward towards our goals, or may be pulls us back. The question here is, do we ever realize what we have lost in the process of moving forward. Or, do we bother to understand if we can bring back all that we have lost in the process of building up our personality? Throughout the life, we meet different people. Right from the time of our birth, we are introduced with a new set of known and unknown faces till the time we depart. Some influence our mentality, nature and personality while others fail even to leave a mark in our memories. We crib for the ones we love. We long for their company. We wish they should never leave us throughout our life. But humans are mortal. Through normal course of our lives, many come and go. Some even push us out of their lives without any explanation or any natural cause. It is just that our role in their lif

Tumhari Muskaan....

Har raat sone se pehle mai khub rota hu, Jaanta hu galtiyon ki vajah se roz apna ek hissa khota hu, Jeeta hu mai tere hi liye, par ab bayan kar na paata hu, Chahe lagge na tujhe ab, par aaj bhi tujhe jaan se zyada chahta hu, Har raat tuute hisse apni shaksiyat ke samet tere aage rakh jaata hu, Asal zindagi mein na sahi, par sapno me roz apni zindagi tere naam kar jaata hu Khot meri niyat mein na hai, tum ye jaante ho, Pata hai mujhe aj bhi mujhe apna sabkuch maante ho, Tum hi to ho jo mujhe asal mein pehchante ho, Reh ni paata ek pal bhi tumhe udas dekh ye tum jaante ho, Duuri sahi jaati na ab aur darmiyaan, Kaise karu apni majboori mein bayaan, Itna bas tum lo ab jaan, Vyarth hai wo din mere jeewan ka, Jis din nahi laa pata chehare pe tumhare muskaan.... ^_^@®$^_^

Why we tend to worry?

We work day in and day out in a mad race for survival. Everybody seems to be gripped in their whole world with absolutely no time for others. In this scenario, every individual will agree that many times during day time and even night; a crucial form of anxiety grips our mind. Such an anxiety takes away mental peace and leaves us uncontended and sad. Tension, worry, stress or anxiety, call it anything, but no one can wash out its existence in the modern lifestyle. No matter how much successful a person is, how much money he has or how many social contacts he has, this never ending stress do not leave us satisfied and makes our life a living hell. If the cause of stress is not identified and removed, a perpetual existence of an anxious mind will decrease concentration levels leading to inefficiency and failure. The root cause of one’s frustration also starts from this anxiety. So, is it not possible to show the worries of our mind a door that has only an exit sign? Yes, i

Zindagi

Maine kal ek jhalak zindagi ko  dekha            woh meri rah me gunguna rahi thi.. Maine dundha use idhar udhar            wo ankh micholi kar muskura rahi thi... Ek arse ke baad aya mujhe karar           woh sehla ke mujhe sula rahi thi.. Hum dono kyu khafa hai ekdusre se.           Mein use aur wo mujhe yeh baata  rahi thi.. Maine pucha tumne mujhe itna  dard kyu diya..           Usne kaha mein zindagi hu tumhe  jeena sikha rahi thi...

Regretting my past deeds

Karan stood all alone in the balcony of his posh penthouse on looking the sea. Cold breeze rising from the ocean swept his hair turning them into a mess. But he was least bothered. All he was worrying about was his love, the way he treated her in the past. He genuinely regretted the way he was turning out to be through the course of time. A million of thoughts run past his mind at that moment. I regret every time I was harsh on you, I regret every single moment I made you cry, I was out of control however hard I tried, To control my frustration because of this life so dry, I know you love me with all your heart, But be completely sure my love, I never wanna move apart, I wanna give you every happiness of this universe, But don’t know why the conditions are so averse, Whatever I try to bring a smile on your face, Starts a whole new cycle of a greater darker phase, I am broken of failed attempts I make, I always tried making you proud, steps only in t

Happy memories come in small, personalized packages…

Everyone out there, finds himself deeply engulfed in great worries and apprehensions regarding their future. The uncertainty relating to life makes him strive harder in the present so that he can have peace in the future. Through these efforts, he wishes to strike off every uncertainty that has a minimum possibility of happening in the future life. He works day in and out, forgetting the small happiness of life in spending quality time with his loved ones. He forgets everything in a mad race for survival. Money becomes God for him that seem to provide a solution to every trouble in the future. In this path towards success, he never realizes whatever he is letting go off his own hands that is more precious than money itself. It is not particularly his greed that let him run faster than his own desires but an eternal fear that he would be left behind and be crushed in this fast paced life and would then not be able to support his family as per respectable standards of the society.
