Memories re-loaded

Memories are one of the most valuable gifts god gave us, because memories are something, which make us feel alive once again, no matter what we are feeling. Memories make us feel the best at every point when we remember.
The most memorable day for me, is the one, when I got what I wanted from quite some time.
The day was 14th of February, 2015. Most of the ones who will read this will think that this would be Memoir of love, where I would have met the one I love. It is true, but it is not like some other memoir, it is something different. Because the memoir here is not about a person, it is about an event. An event which made me feel closer to my passion, made me feel closer to the thing I love the most. It was like a heaven for me. The place was, Pragati Maidan. The event being the world book fair, 2015. I had long been dreaming about visiting the world book fair, but my dream came out to be true when I came here in Delhi. It was a planned visit, yet the way it turned out to be, was one of the most unexpected and unplanned days in my life. The people I was to meet there, were not able to come at the venue and the once I had never thought to meet ever, made my day. First of them was a budding author Arkaprava De, who is the author of a fantastic book, Joys and Woes are woven fine. He made sure to meet me despite his schedules. And the most unexpected meeting was none other with but Preeti Shenoy. Yes, the same Preeti Shenoy, who has a special place in the hearts of many, because of her writing. Her book launch was supposed to be in one of the halls and attending that book launch was one of the most unexpected events of my life. Because I had never seen so big a personality in person in the past, and what followed next was much more unexpected. As the interview ended, she was open for questions and personal meetings. I was not much confident to contact her, but I being a small peg in this industry, wished that I should meet her for once, and give her a copy of one of my works, which is not a big, like a novel, but a small collection of stories, from a number of authors, one of which was me. I contacted her to tell about how I am just starting my career and how her struggle is something I had felt too, and I requested her to please accept a copy of my anthology, The Unbreakable You, which contains one of the most special and closest stories to my heart, which is Confident Again. She happily accepted, and told me to write my mail id on the back, so that she could review, if she gets some time.

Honestly, that meeting is something which I would never forget ever. I have still not received her mail, but I am happier to meet her and have an interaction with her, and give her a book, which had a small contribution from my pen. This is one of the best memories of my life, and I will never forget this day and this event, no matter wherever I go, and whatever I will be in the future. I just hope that someday, I get a mail from her, but even if I do not get it, it has already been special for me.

Experiencing the joy of laughing, on-the-go

Fun is an element which can be found practically anywhere. It is there on the streets and it is found in the smiles we experience when we find the latest episode of our favorite serial being telecasted on the television. I am not a television freak, and I do not prefer watching television most of the times due to impending deadlines at work, but am always eager to savor the tales it has to show as per my convenience and schedule. I used a lot of android apps to get hold of one of my favorite light comedy show on Sab TV. But, due to the busy routine, I often had to skip the telecasts because of the time slot restrictions.  For months, I had to skip the episodes, and then try to find old videos of the same. It was just recently that I found the latest Tata Sky+ Transfer set top box, and it came like a blessing in disguise. I am a huge fan of the hilarious tales of Jetha Lal and his neighborhood, but only Tata Sky+ Transfer gave me the power to enjoy the same as per my sch...
Gore haathon me mehandi ka rang hai gehra.... Laage hai ab pyar karne waalon ka aane wala hai waqt sunahara... Ek ek pal ab lagne laga hai thehara thehera.... Ab to bas saanson par hai ek bas yaar ke naam ka pehra... Aa jaye bas ab wo pal jab milein pyar karne waale do dil.... Waqt ko bhagao jaldi kaho yar ko ab jaldi se aa mil Aane ko hi ab hai raat milan ki... Khatam hone ko hi hain ab ghadiyaan sabar ki... The Natural Sadist

Throughout our lives, we run past many people. Some are good, some bad; some take our heart away, and some etch indelible marks on our soul. Some help us through this material journey, some become obstacles. But everyone out there surely come across such people in their lives who have no particular aim for the future. The person appears as if he has no work to do on his own self. He/she always irritates us, makes our life hell, and appears as if deriving pleasure from our troubled state. We feel as if the person had just taken birth on this planet to make others regret their births. The pains a sadist gives to others is nothing more than the punishments given in hell. He makes us regret every decision we take. He/she may be anyone in your life. An unsatisfied boss, a clingy distant family member, a person we used to recognize as a friend, a revengeful enemy or just another stranger who seems to make life hard for you. Who is a sadist?  A sadist it seems have cruel inte...
