What is God?

Faith is a stone which can shake mountains. Faith is a personal belief. Faith depends from person to person. We have faith in those people, things or events whom we believe can solve problems for us and make our lives smooth and secure.

The same concept applies to our faith in God. We believe in god because we have a trust that praying to god will solve most of our problems. Praying gives us a feeling of relaxation because when we pray, we transfer our worries to a higher power. Because of this, we feel faith in that higher being to a level where we begin to believe in it as a powerful source which can do anything.

But have you ever wondered, if we believe in god to just ask his love, or just get our work done and transfer our worries?

Who is god?
God is a power, god is a spirit or god is something beyond our understanding. Who in reality is god?

Is not god a power which we believe can do anything and make our dreams come true?
Is not god a power which can make everything true?
Have we not made god a thing to use in the modern times?

We need something, we ask god. We have a worry, we complain to god. Anything wrong that happens in our life, we have only one person in the world to blame, God.

The day we start to gain conscious, we are presented with the phenomenon of god. First as our father, then as someone who can fulfill all our wishes and then as someone to complain. But no one ever tells us, what to expect from god, and what to ask from him.

This world is material and when we talk of god, it is a phenomenon, which have created this whole materialism. He is something above this materialism. This means, we as humans, can never understand who God is, in reality, because our minds, our conscious and our existence is developed because we see materialism all around us.

God is not material that is why we often feel god do not listen to our prayers, because we are praying to him in material terms when he is available to interact with us at spiritual level.
Then what should we do to get our materialistic desires fulfilled? We should understand the world and our own personality first, and then the nature of our desires. Our desire of being rich, successful and affluent in this world is materialistic desire in nature for which we are asking a spiritual personality.

To get success, it is not needed to pray to god. We have to understand that the materialistic god lies deep within our own personality. If we want to be successful, we need to appeal to our own existence, work hard and improve our skills and dedication to our work so as to please the inner materialism to a level where it aligns with the materialistic success we wish to achieve….

To work as per my passion and not profession:

The greatest fear of anyone around us, is of being not able to grab a respectable position in this society. As it was said in a famous movie that if we do not score good marks, we will not be able to grab a good grad college, and if there is not a good grad college with good marks, there would be no placement, no placement means no job, no job means no salary and no salary means no marriage. This means our society at large, is moving just to prove themselves on just a single front, i.e. to prove that they are worth marrying?? Or for that case, to grab a job which pays them handsomely. Is it the only thing left in our lives, to get money and family and get settled? What about our own aspirations? Each one of us, during our development stage, begin to develop some hobbies, some passions which we feel connected to. Some are too mainstream and some might even not be known to anyone accept us. If we stick to one of our passion, we develop a skill related to it. It may be singing,...

How corporate professionalism helped me in learning the art of self-appreciation?

It’s been a long while that I wrote something for myself. Though being a full-time content writer, busy in playing with words all day long, who people think of as a word-wizard- never short of something to write, I have, of late, fell short of words to define what I feel about my passion. I started off as a content writer & still, I am that- it’s not that my passion has faded, it is still strong and growing every day, still I sometimes feel I am not doing much for myself. Writing every day for brands and companies- fuelling their aspirations to grow more and more through advertisements, e-mailers, marketing collaterals, etc., I have somehow felt guilty of not helping myself much with my growth journey. But is it my fault… or is it just situational? I am not the type who shifts the blame to professional or personal condition, so I take it upon myself for my mistake. I have not been much serious about my journey, passion and efforts. But through my realization, I came up wit...
