Do not just think act, too…..

Most of the times, when we think of doing something,  our thought remain limited to the confines of our mind and is unable to convert into actions. When something is not converted into action, there remains no chance of a reaction from the outside world. This means, without us acting to achieve something, we cannot dream of getting reward one day. Mere thinking about a better life one day, or success in our career one day, will not land us anywhere. To make sure that we are ahead of where we are today, it is essential for us to introspect our abilities, think over the opportunities, and act too. Act according to our thoughts of success, so as to give the environment around us an opportunity to reward us.

Many of us would have heard the popular saying in Hindi that, “ Bina Marre to Swarg Bhi Nahi Naseeb Hota….” which means that there is no heaven without giving our own life, then how can we think that we would get a pleasant reward without putting efforts in this world. The point is, do not just burden your mind with things which you are not planning to attempt ever. You should always indulge in thought implementation too. Whatever you think of changing in your life, you should work towards it too. Without efforts, no amount of thought can push the mountain.

I read it somewhere once, which many would have read in their lives, that thoughts become things. This means that in order to be successful you just have to think that you are successful. But the book in which it is written, one more thing is also written, that in order to get what you think you have to believe in the power of your thoughts. One believes in something which he experiences each day. We believe in god not because we can see him, but we have a faith in it. And how we develop our faith towards god? When we pray to him, when we pay our respect to him and when we trust that he is with us. this means in order to have faith and belief built, it is essential to do something on our part too, in concrete terms too…..

Just by thinking that one day, I will be rich, we can develop a positivity towards our efforts. But in order to be rich we have to first act in the right direction. Thoughts create the right perspective, actions convert those perspectives into concrete things….

So do not just think and think all the time, relax and for once try acting on whatever you think and if you cannot act, stop thinking on that topic and never think again…..

To work as per my passion and not profession:

The greatest fear of anyone around us, is of being not able to grab a respectable position in this society. As it was said in a famous movie that if we do not score good marks, we will not be able to grab a good grad college, and if there is not a good grad college with good marks, there would be no placement, no placement means no job, no job means no salary and no salary means no marriage. This means our society at large, is moving just to prove themselves on just a single front, i.e. to prove that they are worth marrying?? Or for that case, to grab a job which pays them handsomely. Is it the only thing left in our lives, to get money and family and get settled? What about our own aspirations? Each one of us, during our development stage, begin to develop some hobbies, some passions which we feel connected to. Some are too mainstream and some might even not be known to anyone accept us. If we stick to one of our passion, we develop a skill related to it. It may be singing,...

How corporate professionalism helped me in learning the art of self-appreciation?

It’s been a long while that I wrote something for myself. Though being a full-time content writer, busy in playing with words all day long, who people think of as a word-wizard- never short of something to write, I have, of late, fell short of words to define what I feel about my passion. I started off as a content writer & still, I am that- it’s not that my passion has faded, it is still strong and growing every day, still I sometimes feel I am not doing much for myself. Writing every day for brands and companies- fuelling their aspirations to grow more and more through advertisements, e-mailers, marketing collaterals, etc., I have somehow felt guilty of not helping myself much with my growth journey. But is it my fault… or is it just situational? I am not the type who shifts the blame to professional or personal condition, so I take it upon myself for my mistake. I have not been much serious about my journey, passion and efforts. But through my realization, I came up wit...
