The Real You...

The Real You…

  • Who am I?
  • Why have I taken birth?
  • What is my real aim?
  • How will I find my destination?

These are some of the basic questions that cross everyone’s mind at some points in their lifetime. Have you ever tried to solve out the mystery of your life? Why, the universe with all the paraphernalia surrounds you? Why are you here? Is there any force above your control that controls your being? Is someone trying to guide you through your lives? Does God exist?
The above questions have been discussed numerous times in the history of mankind but still no one is clear in their minds about their own being. GOD.. When this particular word crosses our minds, we begin to visualize a personality, so mighty who can take the burden of the materialistic world apart from the whole universe. On the top of it, people begin to pray him for their individual wants and desires. Kindly think once that if the personality of god’s stature exists, then will he be able to grant everyone’s wish? Yes, surely. You will say, a person who can start the life cycle from the immaterial, surely he has the power to do anything, turning impossible to possible. This is termed as miracle.

Once in your lifetime, sit alone in solace and do think about it. Have you experienced any miracle lately? Did something positive happen in your life without your own efforts? How often do you feel sad and dejected and suddenly a whole lot of happy moments come your way? I guess there would be no one who would agree that without their own efforts and deeds, their lives turned all the very more positive.

You are the one who had been sent to this world to prove your worth. To make the world believe,  that every single soul, that takes birth is not like the other one. You are unique in yourself. I am no atheist, nor I want to spark a hot debate on the existence of God but I believe, God resides in your own soul. You are your very own God. No other person, expect you yourself, can set the course of your destiny. No one can take you anywhere without your consent. Yes surely everyone can be guided but in the end its always you by your side and in your birth lies a great secret. The secret of happiness. Every person be it a child, adult or elderly wants only happiness in his life. In every deed he does, he wishes eternal happiness to never part ways with his soul. In short, it is not the God’s presence that guides you, it is your own craving to be happy, to be contended and to satisfy your quench of happiness that are the cause of your deeds and existence.

To work as per my passion and not profession:

The greatest fear of anyone around us, is of being not able to grab a respectable position in this society. As it was said in a famous movie that if we do not score good marks, we will not be able to grab a good grad college, and if there is not a good grad college with good marks, there would be no placement, no placement means no job, no job means no salary and no salary means no marriage. This means our society at large, is moving just to prove themselves on just a single front, i.e. to prove that they are worth marrying?? Or for that case, to grab a job which pays them handsomely. Is it the only thing left in our lives, to get money and family and get settled? What about our own aspirations? Each one of us, during our development stage, begin to develop some hobbies, some passions which we feel connected to. Some are too mainstream and some might even not be known to anyone accept us. If we stick to one of our passion, we develop a skill related to it. It may be singing,...

How corporate professionalism helped me in learning the art of self-appreciation?

It’s been a long while that I wrote something for myself. Though being a full-time content writer, busy in playing with words all day long, who people think of as a word-wizard- never short of something to write, I have, of late, fell short of words to define what I feel about my passion. I started off as a content writer & still, I am that- it’s not that my passion has faded, it is still strong and growing every day, still I sometimes feel I am not doing much for myself. Writing every day for brands and companies- fuelling their aspirations to grow more and more through advertisements, e-mailers, marketing collaterals, etc., I have somehow felt guilty of not helping myself much with my growth journey. But is it my fault… or is it just situational? I am not the type who shifts the blame to professional or personal condition, so I take it upon myself for my mistake. I have not been much serious about my journey, passion and efforts. But through my realization, I came up wit...

On a path to glory

I have been lost before. in a pool of confusions, that delve inside my head. I have been lost before, in a tide of self-doubt, that crept inside my heart.. I have been lost before, in the guilt of underperforming I have been lost before, at nights with unstoppable mourning Through the years I learned, it does not matter If I am lost, I will surely be found And if no one finds me, I myself will one day walk past this maze To do something worthwhile and to amaze All those who laughed at the time when I was lost All those who created a sense of self-doubt, who made me face this ghost I have learned that the fears are just inside All we have is a beautiful world with opportunities, that is real and is outside So, I rise again from this pool of confusion, Yes I rise again from this guilt and emotion, I know am hard at heart when it comes to the topic of self-achievement But what is an achievement, without a little attitude All I want you is to kno...
