I’ll be always by your side, in your smile is my pride…

Ever since you came to my life, I always wished to give you eternal happiness. Your thoughts used to take all my time. I wished that you never should be sad. No sorrow or grief should ever touch the pint of your soul. In the prayers of your happiness, my nights would turn dark. The sun that came the following day greeted me with praise about my concern for you. I believed and knew that my prayers would never go unanswered. God would surely create the best future for you. I wished to be by your side throughout our lives. But one fine day, I got worried about the life you would get once you marry off. As your well-wisher and the secret admirer, I became tense about the treatment you would receive from your in-laws. Would you also have to surrender to the misery of life? Would my prayers for your happiness are a waste? Would you not receive happiness and smiles whole of your life? I loved the way you smiled. Though we had not met, but our connection, that string that connected us even after being miles apart, got to know in a moment that you are happy. The same day I prayed to give you the best soul mate. I knew I might be over demanding from god, but I wished that I should be your better half. I prayed… I just prayed for your happiness…

To be by your side through thick and thin, like I have always been
To hold your hand through dark nights, like a courageous knight
I wished I can forever be yours, throughout this life’s course
I even asked god to grant me this single wish, I promised god I’ll always be in an eternal bliss
May be god was in the best of moods, he listened my prayers and granted me your side, the most cherished treasure I always pride
You accepted me, as your everything, a person who ll be with you through thick and thin
I held your hand that day so tight, I promised to fill your future with light bright
God listened my wish and made you my soul mate that day my notion grew even stronger that God is really great….

You chose me over all and indeed helped me to gain confidence. Your presence in my life is a pivot around which my world revolve. I am indeed thankful to God to make us meet. I know I would have not got a better person than you ever in my life. You are someone, whom I can call my breath. I promise no one can separate us, not even death. Because it is said that you are born once, you die once and you love only once, I believe my life rest with only you. You are the one I admire the most. Not just as a lover but also as a ‘dost’. I can say that if you would not have come to my life, I would have survived, but have not known the meaning of a fruitful life….

To work as per my passion and not profession:

The greatest fear of anyone around us, is of being not able to grab a respectable position in this society. As it was said in a famous movie that if we do not score good marks, we will not be able to grab a good grad college, and if there is not a good grad college with good marks, there would be no placement, no placement means no job, no job means no salary and no salary means no marriage. This means our society at large, is moving just to prove themselves on just a single front, i.e. to prove that they are worth marrying?? Or for that case, to grab a job which pays them handsomely. Is it the only thing left in our lives, to get money and family and get settled? What about our own aspirations? Each one of us, during our development stage, begin to develop some hobbies, some passions which we feel connected to. Some are too mainstream and some might even not be known to anyone accept us. If we stick to one of our passion, we develop a skill related to it. It may be singing,...

How corporate professionalism helped me in learning the art of self-appreciation?

It’s been a long while that I wrote something for myself. Though being a full-time content writer, busy in playing with words all day long, who people think of as a word-wizard- never short of something to write, I have, of late, fell short of words to define what I feel about my passion. I started off as a content writer & still, I am that- it’s not that my passion has faded, it is still strong and growing every day, still I sometimes feel I am not doing much for myself. Writing every day for brands and companies- fuelling their aspirations to grow more and more through advertisements, e-mailers, marketing collaterals, etc., I have somehow felt guilty of not helping myself much with my growth journey. But is it my fault… or is it just situational? I am not the type who shifts the blame to professional or personal condition, so I take it upon myself for my mistake. I have not been much serious about my journey, passion and efforts. But through my realization, I came up wit...
