Behind every successful man, there is a woman…but a lot more than her too......

Successful personalities are the ones who are seen by the society as idols, Idols that are needed to be worshipped and followed throughout lives in order to achieve greater heights in career and  lifetime. A man, specifically is that specie whose success is a major determinant of the future of his families and coming generation. A man’s success is often attributed to the lady luck in his life and, it is also often said that, ‘Behind every successful man, there is a woman. But is that the only thing that a man has that lead to his success. Is a woman, the only motivating force behind a man ??
Often it is projected in movies and elsewhere that the hero or the protagonist only achieves success once the lady luck showers fortunes on him. Even wealth is also said to come to those who have the blessings of Goddess Lakshmi, a lady. But do really only having a lady in once life the only thing that ensure success. Does not a man compromise other things in his life for the success. Does he do not have the right to be credited for his success. How often do we see a man’s perspective of his journey of his life. The troubles he faced, the hurdles he over came. Does saying only that he has a woman by her side to support her enough to overshadow his own hardwork?
Does not a man, start compromising from an early age? He is expected to be a bread earner as soon as he completes his studies. He is never seen enjoying his life, rather he is seen toiling day in and out for the better future of his would be family. He is often looked down by relatives, neighbors, etc. during times of failures. He has a burden of pressures piling up right from his schooling. Higher grades would ensure top colleges landing him to a respectable job in the society . and suddenly all his hardwork’s credits are given to a woman that may not even have seen him during his harsh times.

To work as per my passion and not profession:

The greatest fear of anyone around us, is of being not able to grab a respectable position in this society. As it was said in a famous movie that if we do not score good marks, we will not be able to grab a good grad college, and if there is not a good grad college with good marks, there would be no placement, no placement means no job, no job means no salary and no salary means no marriage. This means our society at large, is moving just to prove themselves on just a single front, i.e. to prove that they are worth marrying?? Or for that case, to grab a job which pays them handsomely. Is it the only thing left in our lives, to get money and family and get settled? What about our own aspirations? Each one of us, during our development stage, begin to develop some hobbies, some passions which we feel connected to. Some are too mainstream and some might even not be known to anyone accept us. If we stick to one of our passion, we develop a skill related to it. It may be singing,...

How corporate professionalism helped me in learning the art of self-appreciation?

It’s been a long while that I wrote something for myself. Though being a full-time content writer, busy in playing with words all day long, who people think of as a word-wizard- never short of something to write, I have, of late, fell short of words to define what I feel about my passion. I started off as a content writer & still, I am that- it’s not that my passion has faded, it is still strong and growing every day, still I sometimes feel I am not doing much for myself. Writing every day for brands and companies- fuelling their aspirations to grow more and more through advertisements, e-mailers, marketing collaterals, etc., I have somehow felt guilty of not helping myself much with my growth journey. But is it my fault… or is it just situational? I am not the type who shifts the blame to professional or personal condition, so I take it upon myself for my mistake. I have not been much serious about my journey, passion and efforts. But through my realization, I came up wit...
